Maconections Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Maconections! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Maconections platform ("Platform"). By signing up, accessing, or using Maconections, you agree to abide by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Definitions

  • User: Any person who registers on the platform to seek services.
  • Service Provider: An individual or business offering services through the platform.
  • Sponsor: A company or individual who funds or promotes services on Maconections.
  • Platform Fee: The percentage Maconections charges for using the platform.
  • Earnings: The total amount a service provider receives from clients before deductions.

3. Service Provider Agreement

  • Listing a service and serving the first client is free of charge.
  • From the second service onwards, providers must pay a platform fee to continue serving clients.
  • Payment options:
    • Pay Ksh 100 per client served.
    • Pay Ksh 1000 per month for unlimited clients.

Platform Fee Structure

  • For services below Ksh 1,000, Maconections charges a 15% platform fee from the service provider’s earnings.
  • For services above Ksh 1,001, a lower but undetermined platform fee applies (Maconections reserves the right to determine this rate).
  • All payments are processed through the system only.

4. Payment and Withdrawal Policy

  • All transactions between users and providers must be completed through the Maconections platform.
  • Withdrawals:
    • Providers can withdraw earnings to their mobile wallet or bank account.
    • Withdrawals are processed within 1-3 business days.
    • Transaction fees may apply.
  • Any attempt to bypass the platform for payments will lead to account suspension or termination.

5. User Responsibilities

  • Users must provide accurate details when requesting services.
  • Payments must be made only through the platform to ensure security and service quality.
  • Users must respect service providers and comply with the platform's guidelines.

6. Dispute Resolution

  • If a dispute arises between a service provider and a user, Maconections will act as a mediator.
  • Providers and users agree to first attempt resolution through Maconections before seeking legal action.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

Maconections reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in:

  • Fraudulent activities.
  • Direct payments outside the platform.
  • Violating service terms.

8. Sponsor Guidelines

  • Sponsors can promote services or fund specific categories on Maconections.
  • Sponsorship agreements must be approved by Maconections.

9. Updates to Terms

Maconections reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Users will be notified of major changes.

10. Acceptance of Terms

  • All providers must accept these terms before offering services.
  • Users must accept these terms before requesting services.
  • Sponsors must comply with Maconections' sponsorship guidelines.
